Contest Rules for Surveys

1. Official contest rules

Notwithstanding any applicable laws, the present rules regulate all aspects of the contest and bind all participants.

2. Duration of the contest

The contest takes place the first tuesday of each month at 12:00 (eastern standard time). The contest includes five prizes and ends on the cut-off date. Every time you take a leger survey you obtain more chances to win one prize of one $100 / prize of two $1,000 / prize of one 1,000 air miles reward miles / or one ipad®.

3. How to participate

To participate in the survey contest, you must complete a survey during the dates prescribed for each specific survey and on the dates of the monthly contest. Each time you answer a leger survey you get more chances to win the prize. Your chances are cumulative.

4. Eligibility

A) the contest is open to participants who complete the questionnaire in full and who receive an html message confirming he or she is now eligible for the draw. Your chances of winning depend on the number of participants during the contest.

B) participants must be of legal age according to the legislation of their place of residence. Leger employees, including its advertising and promotional agencies, as well as employees of the suppliers of the prize or those of another party directly or indirectly involved in the contest, including their family members and the people with whom they reside, may not participate in this contest. No purchase is necessary. When a participant is declared a contest winner, cumulated chances are reset to zero.

5. Prizes

One prize will be given out to a participant who completed one of leger's questionnaires during the prescribed contest dates. Prize no. 1: $100 in cash (canadian dollars) all canadians including quebec, prize no. 2: $1,000 in cash (canadian dollars) all canadians excluding quebec, prize no. 3: $1,000 in cash (canadian dollars) all canadians including quebec, prize no. 4: 1000 air miles rewards miles, prize no. 5: an ipad®.

6. Awarding the prize

The contest will take place at 12h00 on the first tuesday of every month at 507 place d'armes suite 700 in montreal. The participant will receive an e-mail indicating the prize that will be awarded. In order to be declared a winner, he/she must transmit the requested information within 10 days of receiving the e-mail. If the participant does not respond within 10 days, the prize may be attributed to another participant. The participant must correctly answer the following skill testing question: (25+15) x 5 - 100. The participant will not be declared an official winner until the necessary verifications have been completed.

7. General information

A) Leger is exempt from any liability in the event of lost, stolen, delayed, damaged, incomplete or improperly forwarded registrations, of viruses on the web site or computer bugs during the contest, network outages or technical problems with the phone line, computer systems, servers, the internet access service providers, or problems with installations or computer material or software, or any e-mail error or transmission delay, or any other electronic transmissions transmitted by or to leger or its agents as a result of any technical problems or congestion on the internet or on any other web site, or any of the above mentioned factors in combination, including any injury or damages caused to a participant or to any other person associated with computers or as a result of participating in the contest, including using the contest grid and the contest web site or the transmission and reception of e-mails.

B) Without restricting the scope of the contest rules, leger reserves the right, at its entire discretion, (subject to approbation, if applicable, by the régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux du québec) to modify, suspend or terminate the contest, in whole or in part, (and, at its discretion, to name one or more winners among the registered participants.) if for any reason whatsoever, in the opinion of leger, and at its discretion, the contest did not progress normally, notably because of falsification, an unauthorized human intervention, fraud, violation of contest rules, errors or technical malfunctions, or a virus, a computer bug or any other cause that could alter the security and the administration of the contest or adversely affect them.

C) Any attempt to deliberately damage any website, to obtain unauthorized access to another person's computer, or to adversely affect the good functioning of the contest is a legal infraction, and, in the event a person would make such an attempt, leger reserves the right, not only to disqualify this person from the contest, but also to fully exercise its right to remedy in damages under the law, including, if deemed necessary, criminal proceedings.

D) The personal information obtained on participants registered to the contest is used solely for the purposes of the contest and to participate in other potential contests with or without remuneration. However, under no other circumstances, will the personal information obtained be sent to third parties. E) In order to receive the prize, the respondent must provide us with a photo of him/herself so that it can be published on our website pertaining to the list of winners. The photo must show the winner displaying the name legerweb.Com to demonstrate the authenticity of our winners to the rest of our panel members. The respondents must also authorize legerweb.Com to publish a congratulatory message directly on their facebook wall and other social networks such as twitter, and must accept as a friend and/or “follower” on twitter.

8. Publicity

By accepting the prize, the winner authorizes leger, the organizers of the contest, to use the winner's name, address, photograph, voice or image, or any declaration on the contest "express your opinion and win prizes", for the purpose of publicity, and this, without any form of compensation. All entries become the exclusive property of leger and are not returned.

9. Litigation (for residents of quebec only)

Any litigation concerning the organization or how the current contest is held can be submitted to the régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux. Similarly, any litigation concerning how prizes are awarded under the current contest can also be submitted to the régie des alcools des courses et des jeux, for the sole purpose of regulation.
